Context
A new national platform with several delivery teams working in parallel, where design decisions, performance and security had to hold across all of them.
What I did
- Led three delivery teams to successful delivery against project milestones.
- Developed prototypes and solution designs for new functionality.
- Validated and improved system performance and security.
- Worked hands-on with the infrastructure team, creating and managing infrastructure as code with ARM templates and Azure Pipelines.
- Gave technical guidance to development and test teams, non-technical colleagues and product stakeholders.
Back on the programme, 2023 - 2024
As a cloud architect at Landmark I returned to the Central Switching Service: C# and Azure proofs of concept with automated Azure DevOps and ARM deployments, the Azure Monitor suite to resolve complex edge-case defects, high- and low-level designs for new functionality, and support for business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
